Leslie Tait

I grew up in Orkney, then studied Science at Aberdeen University. I have lived most of my adult life in Orkney, while working in the oil industry on rotation, in the UK and overseas. 

Since I started as a tourist guide, it has been a real pleasure for me to guide and show visitors around Orkney. I have made many interesting friendships and, through meeting others, I have been able to see my native islands with new eyes. 

I am a happily married man and both my wife and myself like to travel abroad, sometimes to her fencing competitions, while my own passion is landscape photography. 

I have always had an interest in travel and other cultures, and meeting people from different walks of life. Tourist guiding enhances this.

Leslie
